Throughout her career, Edan Gelt has emphasized the great importance of community relations to a company or organization’s brand, values, and overall mission statement. Child Life Specialist Volunteer
Loyola University Hospital
Child Life Specialists are professionally trained to help children and their families cope when faced with difficult experiences related to the child’s health. The goal of a Child Life Specialist is to enhance the experience for children and their families while in the hospital, helping them relieve stress and anxiety in overwhelming situations.

Public Relations Chair & Fundraising
CureSearch is a nonprofit organization focused on providing funding and support for children’s cancer research as well as providing resources to those affected by children’s cancer. Working with this group, Edan Gelt has helped organize various events including walks and other family fun events.

Make-A-Wish Foundation
Make-A-Wish is a nonprofit organization centered around children’s cancer and improving the experience of those affected. Edan Gelt has partnered with this organization on numerous occasions raising awareness through public speaking events and organizing fundraising campaigns to give children with life-threatening medical conditions a bright light to help them get through some extremely challenging times.
